Who really cares what Tool do any way. They are a good band and could make a lot more money if they wanted to. I think theyve prooved they can make it big by actually being good rather than being marketed like every other band in the world. |

Reverend, i think the bit about him saying, "stop over interpreting the songs" is completeley right I think people should stop putting the meaning of the song over the actual song and listening to it cause it sounds good not because it has a "message" fuck that for a joke. |

This song is the best Grand Finaly to an album ever made. It just shows the musical brilliance of Tool and the fact that they beat the crap out of all mainstream bands, in talent, musical ability and ability to write lyrics that make no sense whatsoever:). I especially like the little recordings at the begining of the song, (that for some reason are not mentioned here) they bring it all together.

I agree with uratrtl, non-conformists are just conforming to non-conformist.
And this song is trying to tell you that you cant stop listnening to leaders, authority figures or group opinions, because hey guess what. It's in your NATURE. Thats why we have leaders in the first place. |

i think this song is one big joke. I think they realise that Germans have the best language for saying evil shit even if its just a stupid recipe. None of that "non-conformist" -vs- "Conformist" bullshit. HAVE YOU HEARD SOMEONE SPEEK GERMAN LATELY, its awsome. Tool obviously know that, and they obviously know people well try and think of stupid meanings for the song when all it is, is something uni psyche students do in there spare time in order to see peoples reacations. (which is actually quite fun, you should try it) :) |
