listen america can defend itself all it wants but when u go into a country and bomb innocent people becuz of one group that resides in that country its crossing lines. not all afghanistans had something to do wit the wtc attacks and the thing that bothers me most is that we r bombing them becuz we're mad about them bombing us. listen i thought an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth was long forgotten. how can we sit here saying they r uncivilized and barbaric if we turn around and do the same?? ALtho i disagree wit the bombing of the innocents i wouldnt go as far as to say that i hate proud americans. every1 is free to their opinion and if they feel they need to support the gov't and they agree wit bombing afghanistan than thats their opinion. also not every proud american takes credit for something they had nuttin to do wit. i mean look at all those who fight to keep this country safe from outsiders and from ourselves. toby keith is a singer and if he feels this way towards the attacks he has every rite to sing it. if he feels he needs to express his love and pride in this country he has every rite to do so. altho i disagree with what he is saying, he still has a rite to say it. |

argg: i totally disagree...columbine and sept 11 r two very very different terrorist attacks...first off the kids who were involved in columbine were caught and killed themslves and wit sept 11 bin laden is still out there and has yet to pay for wut hes done, second we cant fite wit our own country, i mean its not like they were part of an anti american organization whereas bin laden is part of the taliban who hate america becuz we dun believe in wut they believe in...altho i disagree wit bombing their country, u cant compare apples to oranges if u noe wut i mean...they r two very different acts of terrorism and u cant say we should deal wit them the same way and even if we could we dun have bin laden or any of his cronies to bring to justice |

listen nothingface, I understood everything you said...I mean it was nothing spectatcular or extremely difficult to comprehend....but i have a couple of comments...first what is the point of you posting here if you "hate" all of us? i mean quite honestly i dont think anyone would mind if you just left...second do you really think any of us care about your pathetic attempts to insult us? ha think again...i personally couldnt care less what you say...third i did talk about topics related to the song but you said something to me and I merely responded so your point makes absolutely no sense what so ever and also it would be redundant for me to repeat my opinion again, if you had given me something to work with other than I need hooked on phonics maybe i would have been able to discuss issues related to the song...fourth did it ever occur to you that no one finds what you say amusing? fifth what you said to me about hooked on phonics can not be blamed on someone who might have said it to you and if you had one bit of a trace of common sense you wouldnt have even suggested that...sixth i feel that a message board is for bouncing ideas off of one another and debating different view points, not to use it to insult other people for thinking differently than you do...seventh I'e had enough with fighting with you and I dont want to hear another word out of your mouth and that is why I'm typing everything correctly so that someone with your IQ can understand....do I make myself clear? |

ok listen nothing face, i was typin fast cuz i was tired and it mite have been alil confusin but sayin i need hooked on phonics is childish, immature and pointless....the fact of the matta is u have nuttin good to say since u have no knowledge wut so eva on the issue and so instead u use ur time insultin othas who actually have a good and sensible opinion.....but for the idiots out there like nothing face(wonder where he came up wit that name), ill break it down for u.....basically in a way i agree wit sevrina...the taliban was one group of disgruntled morons who followed anyone willing to lead....that does not make the rest of afghanistan responsible for wut happened....and if we went ova there and bombed their innocent, do u really think the taliban would care like america cared about their innocent? i think not....also u must note that islam is a religion that came from the same background as Judaism and Catholicism....the only difference is they believe in Muhammed and that everyone in both Jewish and Catholic beliefs were only prophets....but otha than that the religions are very similar....on the other hand i find myself sumtimes thinking that we should just bomb the country becuz they train their young to fite....afta sept. 11 sum country like pakistan or sumthin lkike it had a parade in the street....they have sucha hatred for us that i sumtimes think if we dun bomb them that sept 11 will happen again and we need to protect our citizens b4 theirs....for the most part i feel guilty for those thoughts becuz even tho they mite be a possible threat, they r still people....they r still mothers, fathers, children and they deserve to be treated that way....im basically torn and thats wut i was tryin to say in my otha post....do u get it now nothing face or do i need to explain it again? |

hey i know im new to the msg board but ive been followin this arguement...heas how i feel whether ppl agree or disagree....i think wut happened on sept 11 is so outrageous and horrid....but im kinda mixed on the issue...i feel that they need to pay for wut they did to us and the only way to make sum1 feel the same impact is to give them a taste of their own medicine...on the otha hand, the taliban isnt all of afghanistan its only a group of ppl....and if we say how can they do that to the innocent then hurtin their innocent is kinda hypocritical...also america is responsible for the taliban bein in power in the first place and we left them high and dry....altho this does not excuse their behaviors, it still shows that it didnt come outta nowhere....idk i still disagree wit the behaviors and i feel america hasta do sumthin but im torn on wut wuld be the rite thing to do |
