I'll attempt to keep this short. 1) Slipknot is a great band. How many members they have is irrelevant. What does it matter? *AND* for 9 guys, and *NOT* sounding like complete and utter chaos, that is an acomplishment. 2) Mushroomhead sucks, end of story. 3) Corey Taylor is the best singer in metal, hands down. His screams and fucking awesome, and you can hear how well he sings on "Bother" 4) There's this psychotic thing, as rock fans, that we do, we a band gets famous, and starts actually making money and getting tv/radio time, many many people that think they are hardcore rock people immediately label them sell-outs. Why this happens, i don't know. (How in gods name can you say making IOWA was selling out? If they were selling out they would have made a fucking album with all love songs or something) 5) Are they the best band out there? That depends on what you listen to. I like Slipknot better than anything else right now, and i listen to all kinds of shit (things like The Haunted, Chimaira, Diecast, Killswitch Engage, to all kinds of punk rock) 6) uh, since this is a lyrics forum, i'll actually mention the lyrics. I think writes things about how fucked up the world is. Think of them as the George Carlin of metal. |
