It almost seems like this song has a religious bent to it. It was on a Fan club Christmas single a while back, and it seems to be about how people always try to be nicer and more friendly during the holidays, hence "Follow the angels try" |

We could say that 'Her legs spread out before me...' is about how maybe the women doesn't care so much about him anymore. The whole body might mean that she once did, and that she shared more with him. But, you have to look at it symbolicaly, saying that the body is greater than just the legs. |
