I agree with nevermind. Elliott is amazing. This song really stands out. There's something so guilty and so soft about Elliott. It's really unique, unlike anything. You cant compare it to another genre, because it's its own. It's the music.

Maybe it is dealing with distorted body images but what I always picked up is that something happened that they werent spose to talk about, and its dwelling on their minds ... it's performed beautifully, one of my favourite TBS songs [even though I'm in love with all of them]. The cd is georgeous ... amazing ... TBS fits everyone. |

This is an amazing song by a friken amazing band. I saw them in concert and wow ... did they rock my socks. I figure he's talking about someone he loved and how she looks down on him now {sounds like me and the guy I was 'unofficially' with for awhile}... yeah, I do think he's a failure. He's not so brave and he was my shining star ... til he fell out of the sky and became a regular.

Weezer's completely changed ... I don't really care who disagrees with me, but I mean, compared to Blue and Pinkerton this CD blows. A lot. This isn't the Weezer who wasn't afraid to bear raw emotion. Rivers got hurt some where along the line, and is afraid to get rejected. I'd really like him to go a little more in depth. He said in an article once that 'The Green Album is purely music, no emotion attached' ... well doesn't Rivers know that without emotion, there is no music? |

I think this is about how his girl uses drugs and how he doesn't want to love her but he does. This song is utterly amazing and RX Bandits should be given an award or something. The horn solos are amazing too. This song is great live. I saw Brandtson in concert and they did a really fabulous job. The lead singer just totally ... I was just transfixed on him the entire song. FSF is awesome. I would really like to say I think this is the most beautiful song by Dashboard Confessional, my complete favorite. When he played it on unplugged I cried. It reminds me so much of a point in my life where I was just realizing I was in love, with the wrong person mind you, but still. This is just about being so happy, being so emotional that you could just cry. So much emotion was put into this song ... you can tell every time Chris Carrabba sings it ... he has the softness in his voice, the certain heart to put together something as beautiful as this. Perfection through Chris ... I never believed anyone could make me feel so much until I heard this song. Touches every nerve, makes everything seem so real. My favorite is at the end where he repeats 'you meant it' that's the part that takes me. I just ... its unexplicable. |
