I'm sure everyone agree with me if I say that the lyrics makes this song. I've listened to this song many years ago, but I didn't know english that well so I didn't even thought about the lyrics. Some years later, I discoverd them, and the song became so great. Yes, Bad Religion Babe, they really know how to put reality into words. One of my truly favourites. |

I agree that the very sad topic makes the song abit more depressive. It's very emotional and gives me a feeling of a depressive kid who tries to kill himself, or probably his parents will. |

is it only me who is totally lyric about the chorus? i mean, all i need to do - is click on you - and we'll be together for eternity! this song is totally awesome, and it describes how people in our modern society is spending too much time behind their computers. but, i think he's mostly complaining on those who just look and porno and stuff. he knows what it is about. |

this is simply a kinder way of saying "get of your fat ass and do something". the chorus "but they never ask why oh why don't we raise our voices to the sky?" totally blows me away since it's so true and the music is so amazing. definetely one of the best songs on the new america. |

this song is very impressive. without any doubt the best song I've ever heard from no use for a name, and probably the best song I've ever discovered. the whole song in its entirety is amazing. both lyrics and music is totally groundbreaking. the lyrics is about almost everything. I think it's much about how we take everything for granted, and how this society works, and how less we all do care. "everything that we see is anothers suffering" is very true. it explains very well how we in some way learn to enjoy the violence and hunger we see on tv. it's also, as already mentioned, about how everything seems to repeat itself. wake up at 6am, go to work and then go home for sleep. the lyrics mixed with this kind of music makes it to one of my personal favourites. |
