thiis is my favorite weezer song. I love the bass line...it just sounds so awesome.
i was checking the tabs for it and played it, but it sounded...wrong. the song is in minor, is it not? then why are the tabs in major? even when tuned down 1/2 step it doesnt sound right. |

First off, this song is the best. I've known about Alk3 for a long time, and I have to say this is their best song yet, though Nose Over Tail, Steamer Trunk, Exploding Boy and As You Were come close. I think this song is about a guy who is searching for something in his life. He is kind of depressed and "drinks his insides raisen dry", gettin dead drunk to forget it all. He is pissed off because of what he lost, probably a girlfriend because of the line "you wont have to stop saying I love cops for anyone but me" after he said "i wont have to quit doing ****ed up **** for anyone but me". my guess is she dumped him and now hes searching for something in his life, but can't find it. Thats why he is comparing himself to a private eye. |

Hahahahahaha....This song is the best! My friends and I perform it at every bar or bat mitzvah we go to! We get yarmulkas and fake beards and everything! What really got us interested was that this came out right when our temple got a new rabbi....we say this is his theme song now. |
