oh yea here is what john said about the song
John: Well, it’s a long story. Basically the story behind that is a situation, which involved myself and Jesse from Brand New. While the songs were released at different times, they were both written around the same time about the same situation. Both songs are directly related “Seventy Times 7” is Jesse’s point of view and “There’s No ‘I’ In Team” is mine. They’re not necessarily opposing points of view, just from our personal perspective. The words “Best friends means friends forever” from “Seventy Times 7” was originally from our song so then we took the line from their song. It was a little devious on our part, I’d admit. We all think Brand New is an awesome band and we love them, it was a personal situation between me and Jesse and the songs just happened to result from it. |

Well I don't really agree with the whole go out with your best friends ex but if you look at the line
"The jealousy that became got me thinking
that you always had it way too easy."
Kinda makes since to me..my best friend uses guys really bad and sometimes i just want to teach her a lesson or be mean and date them but then i stop and realize thats not being such a good friend. I wish there was some way of showing her b/c I've tried telling her I like this song A LOT though! |

I'm going to go see TBS tuesday night in orlando!! I am sooooooooooooo excited. I can't wait for them to sing this song live..its my favorite. Sambo28 I have tried to correct the lyrics for a long time but nothing ever changes. They Have "if I'm just bad news then you're a liar x8" up there though so thats better than nothing. |

This song is so amazing. I love it. "You could slit my throat and with my one last gasping breath I'd apologize for bleeding your shirt" is my favorite line, its just so awesome! My friend is going to a TSB concert hopefull he will take me...that would kick some major butt! |
