| ugh, a tie and a look does not make you punk, she is pop, she is horrible, and she calls herself a punk rock princess, i dont know, mmtv is buying it, all of you are buying it, but im not buying it. she is annoying and a poser and not at all punk, punk rock, or anything that she would like to be called. what she is is music for the pop girls who are afraid of seeming shallow so they try to latch onto something different and "punk" so here is this girl singing pop, but calling herself punk, they all of a sudden believe that they to can be punk because they like her music, well they are not punk, they are giving it a bad name, if they were just doing their own thing, and if avril was just doing her own thing, then it would be all good, but the american popular public is once again turning something good and decent and real into another fad, that is why everyone is so hateful of avril, because she is bringing this false, yet believable image of punk into the mainstream, and everyone is buy it and the punkness is being taken out of punk, it is loosing all its value and meaning, that is sick, but hey, its american :) | |

i rememeber him teaching me the right way to light fireworks, the christmas we spent with the whole family up at a cabin we spent so much money to get. i remember him being such a strong influence in my life that i still cry over him leaving me all alone. i was seven when he died, and for years i knew i knew, but in my dreams every night i had dreams about him still being alive and it just being one big bad joke. but it never worked out like that. he died in a car crash, got hit by a semi on the freeway, he and his car were pushed over the barrier and fell around one hundered feet onto sharp rocks, the car rolling and compacting the whole way down, he didnt have his seatbelt on, and even if he had, no one says he would have lived anyways. but you still wonder. i am fifteen and i still think of him and cry. he was supposed to always be there. and he just checked out eary. this song brings it all back for me. and i love this song for that, i dont know why, it seems sick to want to be reminded of someone like that dying and what they must have gone through. but i still listen to the song, i will for a very long time, i guess thats just the way it is. |

i dont know what this song is actually about from the writers perspective but i do think its about drugs and what its like to do them, because she sings about mulitpul drugs. it also talks about how addicted to them and abandons all others, It's over now, I'm cold, alone I'm just a person on my own Nothing means a thing to me so i dont know if it is just her or alot of drug addicts in general, but yah either way it is a great song, got me through some denial of my own, well coupled with other things, but this song definatly helped. |

haha yeah you will. um so here goes, its not much cuz i do like your advice, but one thing you said bothered me, you said you classified her as music, but all she does is sing, and even that is covered up by all this techno crap or whatever. so i dont see why someone would like something so produced, wouldnt you actually like to hear the voice, and the feeling the voice can put into it, instead of what they can do to it with a computer? i am just wondering because music is an expression of the soul, not the computer right? |
