It's true, the band does get ripped off. The company that's re-issuing this CD is making new copies due to the sucess of Something Corporate lately, and it's kind of illegal due to some copyright laws or something. The band is not getting any of the money that comes from us buying these CD's. Unfortunately, I didn't find all this out untill I had already ordered my copy, which kinda sucks.
Anyways, about this version of Konstantine. I like the piano part in this one alot better than the studio version, there are a few parts where Andrew does some awesome solo's. And my favorite part is where he's singing "Did you know I miss you?" and then it's quiet and he says, :God, I mis you." He sounds so sad when he says that, and it gets me everytime. |

I'm sure that most fans of this song know that there are two versions out there, the live one from "Ready... Break", and the studio version off of the Drive-Thru comp. "Welcome to the Family. But there's another live version of it (although the sound quality kinda sucks) that you can get from www.sococentral.com in the downloads section. It's basically the same, but there are a few different things. For instance, Andrew sings, "jump up on the stage...become a rock star.", and there's a whole different kinda verse towards the end where he sings about watching her through a window and she's wearing nothing, she wears it so well...just thought I'd pass on this info for anyone that doesn't know. |

This song reminds me of a time me and my friends took a trip to California. We were listening to the DTR "Welcome To The Family" CD and tis song came on as we stopped in a town called Fullerton to fill up on gas. |

I first heard this song off of a Drive-Thru/Little League sampler that I got at Warped Tour, and it made me a fan of these guys. Awesome lyrics, and a kick-ass song.

One of the worst bands ever? Really, that's kinda harsh. But guess what? Ole Brian Baker can say whatever he wants. I don't give a fuck who says that they suck, because that's not going to change my opinion of them. You can say what you want about this song or the band, but I like it, and apparantly there are quite a few others who do too. So to all you God damn hippies who just rip on this song, we're not making you listen to it. If you don't like it, listen to something else. |
