This is an amazing song :o) The lyrics are incredably sad and seem pretty straight forward. My take on the lyrics is that it was the last day two people had together and instead of looking into that persons eyes one of them looked past them and it turns to night and everythings over... and it's too late... and they should have watched that person instead of staring past them |

yah, i think it can really be applied to someone whose died easily because of the angels leading you IN, to me that means IN to heaven:) wow the amazing things we have to look forward to!!!
i could see how it could be applied to someone still living though...
and just a maladriot i know it could get frustrating knowing the meaning of a song and everyone taking it personally and i realize we should give our respect to its true intention, but i still believe musicians have to be open for interpretation. :) but thanks for the info, I didn't know this song was about that, interesting... :) |

wow, what a disturbing song. it sounds like some girl cheated on her bf and the narrator wants her to die slowly, and the other adulturer to die quick, just die and be gone with. that's just what the lyrics look like... i've never heard the song... the lyrics just disturb me because it's a prayer to God, and involves a lot of swearing... hmmph... and murder... and hate... i dont think God will answer his prayer :*( |

i know what this song means to me, but i think it's more on a personal level then in the broad meaning of the lyrics. I think more broadly it just describes how we don't have control over our lives, God does and we need to follow the path God lays out for us no matter how difficult it may be. Thats just my opinion... hmmph |

i think this song hits a lot of people because of what the song is about. there are so many songs about breaking up, but very few emphasize on the necessity of it. this song portrays the love two people can share, but can't continue having together. yay i love it!!! |

hmmphh... I haven't heard any of the new album, but I somewhat enjoyed the lack of sex involved in the last ones. Maybe I'm just misinterpreting, but I'm pretty sure this is about sex, and it's somewhat disapointing from a Christian artist "Pity that its not my wife"... |
