| Oh, I just found out, the performance I'm on about is at the Lowlands Festival in Holland. So... Anyone know what song he sings? | |

| Hey, I was wondering if anyone's seen this song live? I have a video of it that I downloaded, where Daron begins to play (and sing) a song at the end... But I have no idea what it is? Anyone else seen this particular performance...? | |

Here's my view on the video as I seem to have a better idea of that... Here goes. I think the boy is an alien, or a "freak" from the circus that is featured in the video. If he's a freak though, I think he's special... Psychic possibly? Anyway, he's important and that's why he's seen enjoying the "high life"; girls, money, cars. He must've left the circus to get all this money and attention and things... He seems to love this to begin with, but soon gets bored of it and realises (?) that he doesn't want/need it. Here he returns to the circus, but it's empty. Maybe because he left the place, it shut down? Anyway, his circus friends (his proper friends), his family are all gone... So he's left feeling empty because he sold out in the beginning. Heck, the place the circus is in looks pretty weird... Maybe it's not on Earth? I dunno'. I think the people doing aerial moves in the air is just imagery to back up the title of the track, but then again, as I'm not using that meaning of the word, that particular image doesn't mean alot to me... As for the song. I always thought it was about people wanting material wealth but not wanting it to corrupt them. "Always want to play/But you never want to lose." seems to go with this idea... But I'm not sure. It's such an open song, and the video is also very open with no narrative or anything... It could mean anything! And that's why it's so damn good! ^_^ |
