| If Avril Lavigne is so punk, then why is she making music under the name of Avril Lavigne. It should be a group name, because she has guitarist and everything right. Too me she'll be punk, when it's a group not jsut Avril Lavigne. The only reason why i don't totally hate this chick is because she hates that fake skank Britney Spears. Britney will be forgoten about in a month. Avril Lavigne might dress punk and act like a skater but I'll beleive she isn't fake when i see her skate. And she can't sing worth shit. I saw her performance at the Rock n Roll hall Of Fame and she sucked. But that could be nerves. But some of her fans suck. they like her just becasue she's being played on the radio. To quote the Ataris "The Radio Still Sucks". Wanna know what made me sad. The crowd was trying (keyword "trying") to act punk. They're are some peopel out they're who like Avril Lavigne because she's original and that's great, no problem with that. | K, add me to the list of getting this song while looking for Man Overboard. Wehn i first heard I was like "whoa Blink is starting to get good" then i heard the real Man Overboard. Then as i'm looknig around on the net for some good punk music. My friend tells me to chech the Ataris. and sure enoguh i found this song on that website, i bought the Exits and blue skies cd. And i wold say that the ataris deserve more radio paly, but radio play would lead t a video would lead to it being on TRL cause some damn teenyboppers spend a day on the phone trying to get it to #1 spot. The best bass guitarist are Flea, The Guy from tool, and the dude from rancid. Cause all those guys are original. Flea has his own style of bass palying. Tool's guy is jsut amazing and no one can play the bass like the guy from rancid. Check out Rancid "Maxwell Murder" to understand what i mean. The idea about all religion used to be one, is probably right. Maynard is a really in to doomsaying. This isn't the first song with perdictions in it. Aenema had the Mayan perdictions and some other guy's (forgot his name though) perdictions in it. And i heard something on a tool website awhile ago. aybe it b/s maybe it's not but apparently maynard thinks they're is a god but not in a way that we can understand. And that all religion are inter-connected. Another thnig that was interesting was he says that the twelve aposotles where peopel that represented different regions of the world. So they're were chinese, hindu, First Nations, etc. It all makes sense if you think about it. And anyone can tell you that most religions are corrupt and have been for a very long time. So History could have been altered many of times. For all we know they're could'vebeen no jesus christ. |
