just a thoguht...but isnt this message board the place where people are supposed to post what they thought the song meant? i actually just spent about 1/2 an hour reading all these and i think i only saw someone's opinion of its meaning once. i think its great that everyone in here feels strongly enough about thei opinions to post them but i think all of you should share your ideas on the actual song instead of comparing the bands or debating over whether they are emocore emo pop punk country western whatever...thats not what the site is for. dont get me wrong...its not my place to tell you what to do with your time, just thought i'd throw the idea out there....also, here are my thoughts on the songs meaning: i think it is about a guy who finds out his girlfriend is cheating on him and confronts her about it ("your lipstick on his collar, dont bother angel i know exactly what goes on") and he gets depressed becaause he cant find anyone else ("Why can't I feel anything from anyone other than you?") and threatens to kill himself and says its her fault (" When everything you'll get is everything that you've wanted, princess well which would you prefer My finger on the trigger, or Me face down, down across your floor Well just so long as this thing's loaded") anyways, not saying im right but thats what i think it means. feel free to correct me or comment on what i said or whatever AnNiE_sAvEsThEdAy@yahoo.com XoAnnieoX |

i think this song rocks!! not only does it sound good but i like the meaning. or at least my interpretation to teh meaning. i think it is about some chick who is cheating on her boyfriend with this guy and she tells the guy that she loves him and everything but she cant leave her boyfriend. she makes him think that they are going to be together and then she dicks him over. the thing i really like aobut this song is how its perfect for like if ure b/f or g/f cheated on u or played u and you can just play it for him/her and say fuck you! anyways...sorry if i totally got the wrong meaning out of this song...heh heh. | i think hilary duff has talent and im not hating on you people who are talking crap on her but i think that the main reason nobody likes her is because of her t.v. show. i think that if she came out as a singer without her t.v. show she would be more accepted because her show is like a kids show and i think that is the reason most people wont take her seriously but i wish her luck and i think this song is a good start for her if she is hoping to pursue a career in music. she has an amazing voice. | |

| I really like this song. the music rocks and it has a great message. i dont think it is about anorexia or anything like that though. im not saying u are wrong, i respect ure opinion, but i think it is more about a girl (or maybe even guy) who has these ideas of how they are supposed to look and act and be and the person is ashamed of themselves and who they are becasue they cant see their own reflection to see that the person they are enough and they dont have to live up to the quote-un-quote american dream. and saves the day kicks ass! | |
