This song has come to remind me or my best friend (who moved to Arkansas in June (me being in California)). "This time it's on my own." Well, now I don't have a solid hang out at lunch, and I feel slightly alone at school (even though i have other friends). "Minutes from somewhere else." My school is literally minutes from both my home and my job (this doesn't really relate to anything else, though). "Somewhere I made a wish with Lucky Denver Mint." I did make a wish. Not with a coin, but a wish still. "Hurry go on ahead. Good things won't let you wait." This move was really better for him, since he lives near his mother now (who, from what he's told me, is much better for him than his father). "I'll catch up when we get home." We'll have a lot of catching up to do when he comes back for a visit. "At home I'll leave." We have plans to do a lot of things during his visit, most of them outside. "A dollar under water keeps on dreaming for me." Okay, I can't use this line. Oh well. "You're not bigger than this, not better. Why can't you learn" I still have childish wishes sometimes. I have a hard time getting over them for some reason. |

I love this song. It's really catchy and the chorus is awesome. From what I can understand (interpertations are not my forte) this song seems to be about realizing that there's more to life than materialism (evidenced in the line "Everything I've seen never seems to fill me now"), like relationships and spirituality. =P Well, that's my crappy interpertation. |

| This song has a special meaning to me. I realize that Wade probably wrote it about God, but for me, it's about something else. This song is a very good description of the way I feel about wolves, although it might be a bit over the top. Laugh if you must (or stare blankly; whichever works) but I truly feel that strongly about them. | |
