I personally find the line "I'd blow the whole world to peices to not be alone." To be the most moving line I've heard in a song. It's like, he's upset because he's alone, he'd rather destory everything precious to him than be alone, but then later in the song he says that he is the reason he is alone "I am my only devil" he locked himself inside his own "cold cell" by either his words or his actions and now he can't get out and is all alone. Not to mention fed up with the whole thing. I think the line about the empire and the grass being overgrown is about what he had before he started screwing everything over. The whole song seems to suggest some sort of relationship that he seriously screwed up in, so now he's alone. Then again, he could be singing about his love for cheese... who can say. |

actually, in the beginning it says the single greatest commidity known to man... promise... yada yada, and instead of awe, it's ore. What this song means to me... well I don't think girls are evil, but I think they don't quite know what they want at times. I've been through two tough relationships recently in which the girls just couldn't figure out what they wanted, one minute they loved me, the next minute they were with some other guy. I don't really hold it against them, but it seems to me that to say all girls are evil is not true at all. Wait... that has nothing to do to what this song means... to me it seems like he's in a realtionship with a girl who really doesn't care for him at all and is just using him for something... well atleast I think so |
