above where i'm typing, it says to post my coments and thats what i'm gonna do. you can say what you want and hate on me if you want- but if you have the brains maturity above a 10yr old, you'll accept my opinions and ignore them if you want. they're my god damn opinions and nothing any of you say is gonna change my mind. this song is cool to listen too, though i agree that it sounds a tad bit too much like orgy. the singer looks like a complete moron when he's singing...the mouth open w. the eyes rolled back..n all that damn make-up isnt making them look more "evil"...it makes them just look stupid. i came here cause i heard the song, liked it, and wanted to know thelyrics...i wish i didnt read them. i'm sorry but the lyrics dont mesh right. as someone said before(cant remember who), metaphors in songs are awesome... but in the song they dont give you a damn clue to what in hell they're trying to say to the listeners. if you want good lyrics, listen to staind, nothingface, korn, or stabbing westward... but the lyrics for gramercy park are just.... damn they're bad... - Kelly |

i dont mean to get technical, but the line "My chest is so tight I think I am going to die"... doesnt it sound more like "My chest is so tight. Am i going to die"? Could be just me. Awesome song...very depressing but very good, like all songs by Staind. Aaron Lewis is incredible.

i've been listening to this song since i was in 6th grade. they used to play this song at dances and i would cry cause none of the guys wanted to dance with me. now i'm a sophomore in high school and i downloaded the song a few months ago. i burned it onto a cd and when i'm depressed and crying over a guy, i listen to it as i fall asleep. it gives me strength. plus, now it relates to me deeply cause this guy messed with my head and wants forgiveness but i know it'll never be the same.... even though i listen to metal and goth, this song is exceptionally beautiful. this is a great song for anyone to listen to. |

yes, you can be any race and be a muslim by converting. but her words dont feel muslim. she seems to be interested in ancient egypt, and back then, there were gods and goddesses for different animals, energies, and elements. yeah, she's blonde. has anybody here ever seen them live? i might be seeing them at ozzfest. this song is a masterpeice, as is all of her work. her voice cries out deeper than any male singer i've seen. shes by far the most creative and has her amazing way with words and i have so much respect for her. its so strange to see how few people know of otep. i'm spreadin the wurd of otep. visit their site at: www.otepsaves.com and spread the wurd!!!!!!!!!! |
