This sounds to me like he came to this party for a girl that he cares about, and then finds out that she got engaged. He missed his last chance to tell her how he feels "by a mile". |

Let me tell you all a story... I drove for over 100 miles the day this cd came out to get it. I finally got it and was oh so happy. The night, I was so happy to have it, that I emailed the band, telling them about my little adventure. Nick (the lead singer) emailed me back telling me thanks. I thought it was cool. =) Anyhoo, this is one of my favorite songs now. It's awesome. |

Thank you so much, LimpedbRoach... the song is about graduating high school. The one thing you weren't sure about... it means "it won't be open until the next generation of kids come in to the school" also, the "every new begining comes from some other beginings end" line refers to the seiniors graduation as "some other beginings end", and the new begining would be either the new seniors taking their place, or the freshman coming in. Either way, it works. |
