In the album notes, Hoon mentions Jimmy Q near mentioning his parents so it seems like he knew a Jimmy....hm. It seems mostly about the futility of drugs to reach any sort of success/happiness and the blindness and indifference of the user ("can you drive?"). |

I love this song. I just bought no code and its already one of my favorites up there with Glorified G and Given to Fly. From my perspective, I think the part that he says "Up here so high I start to shake.
Up here so high the sky I scrape" he is learning so much he is almost becoming proud and starting to think he is better in some way, but when he says,
"I'm so high I hold just one breath deep within my chest just like innocence," I think he's getting a hold of himself and coming back down to earth. The rest sounds like part of a dreamy sorta childhood, that he would climb trees when he was young. Props to the Vedder man for such genuis lyrics. |

one thing to say: nirvana is totally overated. They are AWESOME, but not that good. About that part in which Kurt says, "here we are now, entertain us" that's actually something that he would say when he walked into rooms randomly. I heard this on a radio interview about a guy who made a biography about him. and megamadman, if your still reading this, dont be so preachy and dogmatic and dont listen to those people who say christianity is wrong because then we're all just preaching.

i dont really know about the "mamason" trilogy but it would be nice if some1 would give a link to a page about it "hint hint" anyway, i think the first paragraph of this song is about a mother tellling a boy that his real father is dead
skipping the chorus, the part where it says "walks slowly cross a young man's room" is like a flashback when the boy's mother had a one night stand with his father but his father was drunk or something so he couldnt remember. and the last part it think is about the mother finally meeting the father after all those years and being shocked that he was still alive. |
