Home Grown – Kids Lyrics 23 years ago
I'll always be a Toys R Us kid!!! Man, I love this song cuz it makes me feel young and want to go back to my salad days...(that was a dictionary.com word of the day a few months ago)...nevertheless, Little Dheb, listen to this one too! Home Grown knows how to have fun!

Home Grown – Let Go Lyrics 23 years ago
Wow, Little Dheb strikes first! I thought I'd be one of the first to comment on this song cuz it's such an unknown, yet underrated and forgotten Home Grown song...nevertheless, my take on it is that you shouldn't necessarily "let go" in the sense of giving up...but in the sense that you need to "let go" and let everything take its course...it may as well could be a religiously, biblically inclined song, cuz it reminded me of Matt. 6 when I first read the lyrics...awesome beat too! If you haven't heard the song...please download it (but don't rip the Home Grown dudes off by never buying their stuff!) and listen, cuz it's a song that can change your life simply by the few words that are in the song...it's also something about moving forward and never looking back, which is something we often do NOT do...well, I just thought I'd end this now...because, I have to go. Bye!

No Use For A Name – Let Me Down Lyrics 23 years ago
I'm with pureOwTkAsTemotion on this one...I was totally hooked on this song once I picked up Fat Music Vol. 5 (pick it up, it's a good compilation of Fat Wreck Chord bands); it's the first track on the cd, and instantly, I was so hooked that I'd play it on repeat in my car, in my room, anywhere for that matter. It's such a sad song too...I like sad songs cuz I can relate, and it enables me to cry ever so much more on the inside like I usually do to begin with. NUFAN's got to be one of the most profoundly thinking and writing bands, punk and any genre, to date and for some time now. This song and "On the Outside" are my top two NUFAN songs...but it's really hard to say that any of their songs are better than the other! To the OwTkAsT girl...I'll teach you the song cuz I play it all the time in my room hehe...so, just remind me to show it to you when I see you again.
I'm going to finish my takehome final now.

Home Grown – All That You Have Lyrics 23 years ago
Amen to all that...simply life life to the fullest and take some time to be thankful in your realization that everything you have, not merely tangible possessions, but the intangible, i.e. your family and friends, are and should be a major source of happiness for you.

I love how the song is so concise too...makes you want to hear Home Grown even more cuz the song's less than two minutes long!

I also wanna just say hey to pureOwTkAsTemotion...=) One of the coolest persons I know who checks this site out with frequency...so yeah, enjoy this song ok? (that goes for all of you)

Love one another, esp. your parents, family, and friends.

No Use For A Name – On The Outside Lyrics 23 years ago
This song is so great; I feel like it was written for me. I pretty much agree with everyone who posted so far. It makes me sad everytime I hear it, and it prompts me to remember all my failed relationships...sadness, but great song!

No Use For A Name – Chasing Rainbows Lyrics 23 years ago
The old adage "Trust no man" is very evident in this song. Trust people, but not to the point where they can push you around like a helpless, defenseless sparrow (or something small like that). I like this song because it often applies to me and sometimes serves as a reminder to be careful.
