bands do grow and mature and sometimes they collide with what the masses want(green day) and sometimes the band changes itself mainly or solely to get money(kicking out a friend to sell records) and i think this is wrong - doesn't mean there music is any worse but that i don't wanta support them ****i really have no reason to further add to this thread – i don’t think my thoughts are any better than the others here but i still feel the need to voice my opinion – sorry for offending anyone; hope i enlightened someone**** |

[i am looking at this because i am bored and i saw an old song i like at 4] ·sellout - sacrifice values for $, power, fame, etc ex throwing out friend to make money ·punk - 1)an image created to sell music 2)an ideology and set of values/morals ex. Strike Anywhere, Anti-Flag, Propagandhi, Boy Sets Fire, or REFUSED (people that where the punk apparel need to rethink what they are doing - are they doing it to "revolt" against the trend or to be part of the trend) |

sellout - to compromise values and/or morals for fame, fortune, etc... if anti-corporate drone machine is punk and the punk audience is punk [sounds redundant] then going on mtv would be selling out to a punk band sorry msg is late on the thread but had to get my thoughts in |
