Oh my gosh... This song is beautiful. And let me just tell you, two of my best friends sang this song as a duet for a show @ our school, and im not just saying this b/c i love them, but they were better than Josh and Charlotte. It was freaking amazing... honestly, the entire audience of 400 was totally captivated. Most were brought to tears. Needless to say, a standing ovation came next. But everytime i hear this song, im like, I know people that sing it better.... It still an amazing, amazing song. And performance. |

This song is deeper then it comes off as- it is an addition to "City Love". "City Love" is all about the first part of a relationship, the *woot woot* everything's dandy part, in NYC. then, this song is about more of the in-depth part- everything's not great. In NYC. the NYC part is really important- "City Love" was pre-9/11, this one is post-9/11. Catch my drift? Everything in New York City is great, but something goes wrong, and things are still OK.
John explained this comparison better on the new DVD... "Any Given Thursday". GO PICK IT UP!!! Gooooooood DVD. I love the man. |

This song definitely makes me cry... it's so beautiful, and it just proves how guys have feelings too!!! I mean, that girl totally broke John's heart. You can also relate it to friendship... when friends just decided they're sick of you? Yeah, so down-to-earth.

I didn't read all the comments posted for this song, but i honestly love this song- the music AND it's message. I knew this song was about God the second my friend told e they were a Christian band, and this song made so much more sense to me. It's SUCH a great message to put out... that you just need His presence, that's all it takes. I think it's great that this was a single, too, that everyone listening to pop radio gets that message. Even if they don't understand it's about God, they still get a great message about being in someone you love and loves you back's presence! |

this song kicks, i know it means that he kissed a girl he liked and it didnt mean anything cuz she was, well, drunk, and that isnt funny, but the song itself is sort of funny. ok, i haven't read all the comments yet, so i don't know if someone said this already, but i'll say it ANYWAY. ok. so, i definitely think this song is about losing your virginity and not about love altogether. this line is why i think this: "And for a moment, you felt important". the sex would just last for a moment and you would feel important. and i definitely think that's a great message for a band to put out. i'll admit it, i'm only 14! so i am definitely a virgin. but honestly, i know people in my class who aren't. now, that just seems disgusting to me. the kids my age lost it to older kids, but they're still KIDS. high school kids, but still KIDS. i do want to wait until i'm married, and show the one who i want to be with for the rest of my life that i've only wanted to be with them, even if i havent met them yet! |

i love this song. nfg is my fave band and this is probably one of their best songs. this has been my favorite nfg song since this cd came out. i've heard the lyrics a million times and i've sung along and stuff, but i never really heard heard them. when i read the lyrics, it donned on me how much it really was like something i'm going thru about friends of the oppositte sex and more than friends of the oppositte sex... it's just the best song and a great eye-opener. |
