what the fahk is wrong with everyone? the songs from the last album all have meanings and opninions, and this one, just a little bit older, rocks at least as much, and no-one seems to know it...what;s this world coming to. i'm not saying "if you just started listening to this band you suck" but I think if you like a band you'd want to hear what they did before they were "mainstream" (I realize Sensefield's not really mainstream, but you catch my drift) |

I think this song is a sort of 'part "2" to the (also great) song my star from the album before this. i think a lot of the songs on this album can be considered to be a pt 2. Hey radio (1) and always on, robots and june and a couple more I can't think of right now... But it's a greatr band, and highly underrated to my opinion |

I'm sure if you asked them, they'd NEVER say tey were Emo...for some reason there's not a single so-called emo band who wishes to be called that...let's just call it music. Besides, I don't think they made this album this way to get more money, I just think (after STWHA) they had a little more to spend on production and gear, and I think thát is what makes it sound so "clean" (besides, to me that's not a bad thing) |

First of all, this is my absolute fav GUK song (if anyone cares hehehe)... I think it's about the simple fact in life that where decisions are taken, mistakes are made. this does however NOT mean your wrong... If you'd known what would happen before, of course you'd make a different decision, but don't be afraid to choose. in the end you can work it out with the people that really matter and have a "reunion show"...at least that's what I think he's trying to say |

I Think it's about his dad too, and seeing that he is about to become a fathert (or just did, I don't know) he's also afraid he might make the same mistakes...One other thing, I keep reading a lot of posts how different on the wire is from the other albums...I have to disagree. yes the sound is different, but if you look at structure, intervals or even scales they use for that matter it's still the same old get up kids we know and love so much. I had to listen to OTW a couple of times too, and for me it will never ever beat Something... or 4mm, but it';s still a great album |

I Think I have to disagree with all of you, about the meaning of this song...i heard jim (well, i read it to be honest) say in an interview that this song was about two friends of his who kept challenging eachother into doing stuff. i think it's written from the point of view of the less strong of the two friends, who's desperate for recognition...(any focus on me is appreciated as it should be) but of course it's only my opinion and anyone could be wrong |
