I was listening to this song yesterday and trying to think of a meaning. I was driving to pick up my boy from work, and it (sort of) came to me. I pictured an older man who had his heart broken, walking around the world, stealing ("collecting") others' hearts, so that they wouldn't have to feel pain. Like, if they were in a relationship that was about to get ugly, he would take their heart so that they wouldn't have to go through what he did. Just an idea... the only one that came to mind. |
