uhh okay, well this song is about Miguel Valdez. It definitely isnt about Anne. It is called #34 only because the band could not come up with a name for the song. Usually, if the band cannot think of a name for a song, they ask their sound man, Fenton. And if Fenton can't think of anything, they leave the song name as the number in which they wrote the song chronologically. Hence, #36, #40 and #41. |

I think hes talking about some girl that falls in and out of love easily and all in all is very 'easy'. He says "Your halo is held on with duct tape

But harder to keep like joy" It is just saying that she tries all these different people and acts to find joy but she never will when shes like that. She can never stay with one person. Just my take on it. |

The first time I heard this song I thought it was about an abortion. I didn't even know that Stefan had a baby. And I always thought that the little girl on the inside cover or UTTAD was his sister Anne's little girl. (you know, It says "In Memory of Anne") But I also could be very wrong on all of those predictions. |

I really do like both this and "Satellite". Its odd because on two different dates with different boys I heard each of these songs.. So maybe I like "After Her" better ;-). dMb seriously Rocks. I love their sound no matter what they do. Just an all-around great band. |

I really do love this song. Thanks for telling me what this was all about because I was clueless to that. But I would love to know why everyone hated 'Everyday' so much? I mean, I've been a Dave Matthews Band fan for a very long time, but I definately still liked alot of the work off of the album. So Right, Fool to Think, Mother Father, Angel.. they all had great lyrics and the music might not have been the original dMb type, but it still was great. I guess its just everyones opinion, though. |
