It knocks the wind out of me when I stop to think about a few facts about our society. Has anyone else checked the divorce rate recently? Or the number of abortions that happen every minute? Over 60% of people's first marriages end in divorce in this country. Thousands upon thousands of babies are murdered legally in cities across this nation every year. I for one agree very strongly with this song and its message of waiting, but just waiting isn't enough. It can't just be for someone you love, save yourself for the only person, the one person, the person you end up spending the rest of your life with. Save yourself for marriage. |

I think it might say "stalk of baby's breath", which would be more describing the flower, which combined with the shoe full of rice would indicate a wedding more than anything else. I could be wrong though. |

I was going to say the same thing as jmdeno - the video just might be the key to further understanding of this song. If you haven't seen it, try to find it anywhere you can. It is one of the best music videos I've ever seen. For those who haven't seen it, it basically shows bits and pieces of a persons entire life in fast forward, starting with their birth all the way to their death. During the entire video, which takes place in one room, with the camera in the center spinning, the lead singer stands in front of the camera, singing while the person's life is in the background. It's a truly awesome video, check it out if you get the chance. |

Everybody else seems to have an opinion about this song that is either loud, personal, or some form of a rant. (by the way, Metallican41, if you hate LP so much, why the hell do you spend so much time trying to convince their fans that the group sucks? If you have an honest opinion that involves something more meaningful than "fuck LP fans in their stupid little assholes" then state one. Otherwise, shut the fuck up and get the fuck out. That goes for the rest of those who only come to this address to shout obscenities and epithets at the fans)

3. LP in no way panders to "teenie boppers" Their music is promoted and played by alt-rock stations and pop-stations around the country. So what if they show up on MTV once in a while? Can you honestly say that if you were put in the same position (you are in a band, you make music, it gets overplayed, you make lots of money because of this) that you wouldn't try and spread your music around some, make a few guest appearances on TRL or some other similarly crappy show. I get tired of people talking about bands that become popular as "sell outs". Just a note, music is a business too, and one of the goals is, get this, SELLING! |

3EB is my favorite group, Blue is an excellent release, and this song is one of my favorites by the band. I recently seperated from my girlfriend of over a year and a half, and although I hate to say it, sometimes I still feel the same thing this song has to say. But then I get over it for a while and go listen to some nice emo ; ) |

This song is incredible. I would say that it is the best song by Last Days, except that Next In Line is just a little better. Not by much at all though. This song is awesome. I'm pretty sure about these lyrics being correct, but there are a couple of places where stephens voice is hard to make out. The part that says "they're rooting for us" is probably the hardest part to make out. If I'm wrong about that line, well, oops I'm sorry. Oh, yeah, almost forgot. I love this song, that's why I just spent the last twenty minutes listening to it repeatedly, trying to figure out the little parts that are hard to hear. Peace, I'm out. |

I can sympathize with EmergencyExit - I can't even count the number of emo songs I've downloaded since I broke up with my girlfriend. This is one of the better ones, and Last Days Of April is an awesome band. I just wish they would do a show somewhere on this side of the atlantic. |
