this is a good intro song, and so is fall children and keeping out of direct sunglihg. they play this song at mnost of their shows now, as their intro, its bascially everyoen screaming, "THROUGH OUR BLEEDING WE ARE ONE" then jade and hunter start going crazy and jumping around, then Davey walks out and body right up against the crowd, barely singing becaseu everyone knows it, with him stretching his arms out and making fist and crazy shit like that, go see them live or trade live videos if u can, best band ever live - hands down ps join the Despair Faction, AFI's fan club stay fresh |

its not necessarily about HALLOWEEN PEOPLE! dont regard AFI has a halloween band now... because they arnt, and they arnt goth... this song is about a gathering - they play this song as an intro sometimes, this or strenght through wounding. Davey rarely discusses his lyrics, but most of the kids on the message board have regarded this song as a gathering for everyone at their concerts and then going crazy , "deadened branches stirred by whispers in the wind (going crazy, jumping around, moshing) - since it is an opening song, "the wait no ends!!!" and the band is starting to play and go off - fall children means everyone, not necessarily kids that were born duringh the fall season, but everyone at the show, everyone in the AFI scene. ps join the Despair Faction, AFI's fan club now! stay fresh |

| its Violets, violence wouldnt really make sense in this song. its a great song, but by far, not their best :) in producing, davey sings in the backups alot, but its usually hunter and jade and adam in concert, and during recording, they have guest singers, such as dexter holland(offspring) Nick13(tiger army) .... just a few examples. | |

the joke is about WESTER, the syrup brand, its just a joke. | Ballparkfrank - first off, Dustin isnt the worlds greatest lyrical genius - "Davey Havok of AFI is :)" and secondly, Why are you afraid that Thrice would explode into popularity. and no longer be an underground phenomenon - no offense, people like you can ruin it for others... Thrice wants to spread their music to everyone, but all the "sellout bullshit" just brings down the music and the scene. Good for thrice to go into the top 100. That means they are succeding. If people dont like thrice, then thats their opinion, we dont need them anyways, and if people do, than welcome. I'm not the one to be preaching, but we're all Thrice fans.
