i love this song, this is how i feel about my girlfriend. i think its really cool that they covered a sade song. chino's vocals are awesome, i seriously think that he should do a duet with sade. i love how the deftones made this song more atmospheric. oh yes jonah from the band far also adds vocals in this song. |

amarquez is right...chino is a genius lyricist. Stephen is my guitar hero and has influenced me a lot and we also share the same name. abe is and awesome drummer, i believe he is john bonham reincarnated. Chi's bassline eerily accents Stef's guitar riff. more power to the deftones for writing awesome music. they are my favoritest band ever.

I notice a lot of people have commented on this song and I agree mostly with the idea that this song is about questioning christian beliefs. Billy and Maynard have a good concept. This idea is one that a lot of "so-called christians" should do. I really don't think this song is actually anti-christian, but it just shows that people go to church and just believe what the minister is saying and never give it a second thought. Christians need to analyze what they are believing and I think APC delivered that message very well. I like the first line of the song, "You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never ever choose to be." Basically I also think that this song could be taken in a more broader sense that people don't ever question things that they have heard or read. Don't just believe...dig and search and find the truth. Oh yeah APC rocks! (cliche) |
