alkaline trio kicks ass, i've seen them live twice and they totally rock! even though it's been beaten to death, i'd just like to concur that mtv does nothing but taint musicians' reputations and expose them to a crowd that buys into it because "punk is cool!". not that i'm against their success or hell-bent on "keeping them to myself" (i hate when people talk like they're the only person deserving enough to listen to the band), i just think that mainstream television is not the way to gain popularity--it's so obvious to see who's wearing the tshirt or standing in the front row for all the wrong reasons. The trio needs to be appreciated for their TALENT!
anyways, the song... i always just thought this was about a cheating girlfriend. |
