i applaud the puerto rican's interpretation but i dont think that cedric made intentional grammatical errors. he admits in an interview i read recently, that his spanish is not up to par. But at the same time i read somewhere else that the spanish he uses when writing his lyrics is more of a colloquial type of spanish. In the same vein that shakespeare made up his own words and phrases and such, cedric is doing the same with the lyrics in spanish. and besides, being a fellow native speaker of spanish, hearing and reading the lyrics can give us enough information to figure out what message hes trying to convey in this song. beautiful song, very exotic and omar (my favorite) is exceedingly talented also. |

devilfairy137 i would tend to agree with you about their success and all...i really am happy for GC for getting bigger...but if u notice with most band who get more popular they start to become more pop....they become a passin fad and GC and others are just too good for that...i think thats what most people worry about....but it wont happen to them..GC is great...just pointing that out. this song is great just fun and silly. |
