I used to play this song and it reminded me of a friend of mine who got dumped by his gf and he was devisated. And I used to think about him when I played this song. I think of it as basically a break up coming from a friend's point of view, and how he is trying to help him get over her by letting him now how he sees the situation. That's what I love about songs, especially MB20 songs, cause you can interpret them how you want. The beauty of music |

i love this song, yeah it's different and it's very unlike of green day but they needed another song like time of your life. i hope though they don't keep going down this road because i do like their older stuff a lot better but this is a good song. this is mine and the girl who i have a big crush on's song. she got me into it so maybe that's why it means so much to me. just makes me think of her i dunno but i'm gonna stop rambling on. great song *two thumbs up* |
