there was actually an interview where Maynard was talking about the 3rd eye and how its easier to get your third eye through drugs and the interviewer asked him "have you used drugs to gain your third eye?" maynard said "i did mushrooms once. but i avoid the easy path of the third eye" |

Alot of these interpratations are correct but Maynard said himself the lines "Learn to swim" are telling us to all get back in the gene pool. Learning to swim is a way of saying to evolve past the things that the normal way of humanity is. If you havent realised that Maynard dwells on evolution you dont listen to enough Tool (listen to 46&2 its about evolution) |

The sad thing is the people who are insulting slipknot have no fucking clue how to criticize a band. "Fuck slipknot they have no fucking talent thos stupid fucks". True intelligence right there. If your gonna criticize a band for their talent actually check out their talent. Joey (the drummer) is an extremely talented drummer. Mick and James (guitarist) are very talented guitarists. The other members are mediocre. Now if your gonna say someone sells out than thats a totally different thing. Slipnkot is about shock-factor. I like Slipknot alot but they use shock-factor to gain attention. Just like Marilyn Manson, or even Blink-182 running around naked. Blink-182 has talent for the music they play. But they sold out. Learn to criticize a band.......morons......
As for the "maggots" you guys just make it worse cause you all act fucking retarded saying "fuck you slipknot is fucking awesome you stupid bastard!!". You show people slipknot fans are stupid as hell. I like Slipknot but I have no wanting to be a maggot if it involves being that stupid....

The US government tries to hide alot from the children of the US. When I was in middle school we were learning about WWII and the Holocaust (which was obviously one of the worst genocides ever) And there was a paragraph....I'll say it again...A PARAGRAPH on the Holocaust in our text books. My teacher was appauled and had our books given back. Our country is so worried about what our children will see. The fact is if you hide someone for so long from something....and then they finally see it, it will be much harder to comprehend. I can only hope our generation can help change the course of actions that our world is currently in. |
