this song is excellently put together, to me it is the story of a relationship. the story starts near the end when things are getting complicated "i'm sure i used to be so free" and then after about the 5 minute mark where the song sort of gets a bit lighter is the process of trying to forget the person you were in the relationship with "erase all the memories" etc I'm probably wrong, but when I first heard this song that's the state the relationship I was in, particularly the last part sticks with me, as I was trying to do that for months. |
