whoa- sorry peachy. when i said it was bad i wasn't making reference to the bands growth or personal preferences... just saying that i did not like the new version and ultimatly, thought it was bad. I'm queen acceptance when it comes to bands changing for the benefit of themselves. People often forget to put themselfs in the bands position.... don't even get me started on the topic of selling out and shit. |

Ok finch is a great band... up in my top five favs but I hate when people go off talking about selling out and anti conformist shit. Example-- I KNOW their music has changed a lot and i'm usually the first one to coment on it -- but if blink182 wasn't played on every radio station and trl and mtv, i'm sure 78% of people who claim to "hate them because their sellouts" would be down with them now. But if you look at it from their side.... if someone offered you a multi million dollar record deal i'm sure you'd be willing to change a couple things... unless you were the strongest person to ever live. Music is music and don't not like something because everyone else does.... if you do you'll end up missing out on a lot of good stuff. |
