i think it's about a guy who's got some pretty drastic ideas. something revolutionary, but the rest of the world doesn't want to agree with what he has to say. eventually this guy gives up, and the world is lost because they're beyond ignorant and anal about anything new. it reminds me of old philosophers. back to when everyone wanted to believe the earth was flat, when one man tried to go against that using a new theory, everyone got on his case for it. same idea. almost. |

i want to know what makes you think this song is through the eyes of a vampire. yes, i know the song was in fact made for the soundtrack of a movie about vampires, but i really don't think it means this is first person narrative from the mouth of a vampire. moving on... of course it's about some being lusting over some other being, and of course, how cliche, one can't have the other. there's emotions on many levels; love and hate. i just think the whole notion of the song has been done before. i've been an orgy fan since the release of candyass, and i believe this is the worst song jay has ever done. |
