this one is beautiful. i think it's about losing a friend, but that's not all. maybe it is an imaginary friend ('i'm the same by name') and ('this is where the sane will park his foot upon your toes')

I'm not sure but since there are few other comments on this song, i felt i might as well share mine with you. I think it's about chino dissing certain bands who aren't for real. With "adrenaline" deftones had developed a sound of their own, some other bands probably tried to benefit from deftones' succes by copying their sound or commercialising it. On their second album chino shows his opinion about these "fucking slobs" |
