yes this is true. I actually only looked it up because you mentioned it. But, it is from a book called "The Stranger" written by Albert Camus in 1946. All i really can find out about it is that he was a philisophy/journalism major as well as a playwright, but maybe that's to much info. I guess check out the book, or read more on unenet/google/wherever you get your info. I guess this song is proof that things often aren't what they seem. |

Interesting, I always thought that it was about two people breaking up, now looking at though, it could be about some kind of drug addiction. Or maybe just addiction in general. Some people can be addictive. Maybe its kind of both. |

Nice, there are Elliott fans out there. I don't know what it is about this song. It just gets me everytime. Like those half japanese girls. I dont' think i could even tell you what the words mean to me, it just has an almost surreal sound to the whole song. I want it to be the background music for my life, calming me like an ever present hand on my shoulder. Does this song effect anyone like that? or am i just really weird? |

I often wonder about the pronoun's that Jonah uses. Like in the "your letter" by OneLineDrawing he often changes from her to him, when it seem's he's talking about the same person. He kind of does that here, "your like kissing lipstick" then he goes on to say in the same paragraph, "your such a boring guy." I know this is the 21st century and all, but I'm pretty sure he's not gay (not like there would be anything wrong with that). I've known girls that i can relate this too very easily. But then again I've known guys like this too. People so insecure they can't help but compulsively lie about everything. I often feel like picking a knife up, and cutting them accross their smiles. |

This is one of my favorite far songs. Kind of a straight edge song to me, but without saying I'm cooler. Many of the "I AM STRAIGHT EDGE!" (uh hum, earth Crisis) make it like if you aren't straight edge there is something wrong with you. Jonah doesn't do that here, he just tells a story...a story how I can often feel when I'm always sober and everyone is loaded. |

I love this song. Often its been the only song in my playlist for hours at a time because i can just keep listening to it over and over again. It's nice to hear how they grew from the version that was on quick to the on that is on the Godmoney sound track. Not quite sure why but the last time i listened to it for hours at a time was when one of my best friends left for the marines and I just knew that things would never be the same. And they haven't been. |

This is actually a Jawbox Cover. Jonah originally did this with the deftones when far was still around. It's hard for me to tell whether I like Jonah singing it with Chino or with R2D2. I guess they are each special in there own way. We need more musicians like Jonah. Does anyone else agree? |
