What the fuck is happening to music? I can't even begin to comprehend how anybody can seriously like this shit. "Party Hard"? When I first heard this song I was laughing hysterically. Then I started to get furious when I realized pop culture will accept and appreciate Andrew W.K and join his cult while dissing on bands who decide to come up with great new and original ideas instead of cultivating every worst influence of music and calling it Andrew W.K. When I think of the phrase Andrew W.K only one object comes to mind. A piece of shit. Kids, listen to me and listen close. I am a strong believer in opinion and I acknowledge and respect the fact that what I think is terrible others might think is amazing and visa versa, and their is alot of music out their that our country's youth is appreciating and I don't agreee with it, But I still respect them for their opinions and treat them the same way I would treat someone who listens to obvioulsy better music. But Andew W.K is different it's a sick joke that the big guys at Island are playing on America. They even make him seem like a sincere and deep person with some of the writings on Andrewwk.com. Pretty soon the vulnerable children of America will start to follow the most fabricated band of the century and they will follow the rules of his testament. It's sad more then anything because the listener who contributes to this band by buying his CD also contributes to a cause of evil. What lies ahead for the future of America? Tragedy. |

Godpseed has abslutley broadened the Post-Rock spectrum. The lyrics are subjective and conceptual. This has to be one of my favorite field samples from rock and roll. |

I think Terrible Lie refers to Trents sense of rejection from god. This song is a clear first impression of the straightfoward depth that Trent Reznor uses in Pretty Hate Machine. This song is amazing, especially live. |

| Radiohead – Let Down Lyrics

Andy Warhol once said that he could enjoy his own boredom. 'Let down' is about that. It's the transit-zone feeling. You're in a space, you are collecting all these impressions, but it all seems so vacant. You don't have control over the earth anymore. You feel very distant from all these thousands of people that are also walking there. This song is about lack of control, and the enormous feeling of being trapped. |
