This song is about God... lol. Ah I hate people that come on and say this. Do not come in here and say this song is about god... you might compare this song to god... its a point of view but this song wasn't written about God. The arrogant dumbasses that come in here and say oh this is about god for sure. It makes me sick that Christians say nobody could ever feel this way for someone. People care more about themselves and their beliefs now a days then about someone else. Lifehouse isn't a Christian band... and an interview with the lead singer he said this song is about a girl he fell for. |

Ok sorry to break it down for everybody but Lifehouse isn't a Christian band. I read a review of the cd a while back and they said most of the songs written on the cd were about this girl he fall in love with. The song is amazing. My favorite song of all time. It's about getting so deep into it. Falling in love with that perfect someone and they're everything to u. |

I'm getting sick of most of these idiots coming on here hating a genre of music instead of just certain bands. I'm an emo fan but I'll admit I've listen to songs like "Regulators" by Warren G and Nate Dawg... "There She Goes" by Babyface... "Jelly" by Blessid Union Of Souls... I hate most rap music and it does suck when u hear the same song over the radio all the time. Then there's more people comin on talkin about seeing a video on some channel. Well holy shit if a band becomes big. It doesn't make them a sellout. What is pathetic is people who walk around saying they like this band and then a year later don't ever wanna listen to their music. I still listen to some of my favorite bands back from a few years ago. It is pretty stupid when some fan comes on here and clicks refresh so many times just so people could start listenin to this bands music. Most of the lyrics viewed from here are bands that r emo. I do like a lot of bands like Dashboard Confessional and The Juliana Theory but I don't like bands like Finch and New Found Glory. I didn't pick up these bands from the radio or MTV. I didn't start listening to these bands because my friends were or because I thought it would be cool to be a rebel. I could care fucking less about genres. It's just a fucking label and it doesn't make a band. Who cares if it's emo... rap... metal. It's pathetic to watch idiots come in here and complain and try to act cool. I've never heard of Time Spent Driving but the lyrics seem good. Hopefully people will stop posting shit about songs. We come here to look at lyrics and find out the meaning of the song... I don't come here to debate about music. |

This song is great. My ex-girlfriend told me about it. We met each other on the internet and fell in love. We met and everything. It kind of explained the way I felt the first few days of it all. "Hello again Your words they make me smile As I drift away In my little room upstairs" I don't know if it's about talking to someone on the internet and falling in love with them but that's my interpertation of the song. |
