I feel like crying whenever i hear this song. It reminds me off times i've had, times i wish i'd had, times that i miss. This line always gets me: "i miss the grinded concrete where we sat past 8 or 9, and slowly finished laughing in the glow of our headlights..." reminds me of some of those moments that you'll never forget, just being with ppl you love. but nothing good ever stays, especially when your young and your life is constantly being torn apart and sewn back together, but i dont mind the pain, and i welcome the tears, as it is a remider of things that were good, and that means it was worth it |

why does this song make sense? wow, im just flooded with feeling. Theres so much i want to say, though no one will probably read it. I think that the emotion is not only deeply rooted in Chris's music, but in his fans too. I read this intire board while listening to that song (and some of his others too), and it brought me too tears. I feel connected to almost everyone in here, i want to respond to what each person said. As for the song, its amazing obviously :) Everyone knows what that feels like. You know what I dont get though? Girls are always saying they want guys to be more sentimental, caring, more "in touch" with their emotions. But now that im more in touch than ive ever been before, no one seems to notice (or care) especially the one girl that i want to notice. I want her to see that im what the other guys arent, that i care, that i have real feelings. All the other guys just want to get in her pants, but i could care less about that, i just want to be with her. But so far shes yet to notice. WOW...what can i say that hasnt already been said? This song is beautiful in all the ways that a song can be. I put this one in category: "songs that can save you" because this song has helped me in so many ways, just listening to it is a reminder of how great life is. This song has kept me looking forward when all i wanted to do was look behind me. On late nights i spend on the computer, i can feel so empty insided, I listen to this song to cleanse myself of all those meaningless superficial moments in life. "lick the blood off with our tongues" reminds me that even when life sucks, embrace it with everything in you, because life is so awesome, and pain is just a reminder that we're alive! Another awesome song by boy hits car. I've checked around at different sites, and it seems theres some dispute over the lyrics. Frankly i dont think it matters too much, because some parts wouldnt make much sense either way, but still a cool song, thats just their style. from what i do understand of this song i think its pretty cool, "sometimes, memories kills me"
