just because they did a little version of some eminem song doesn't mean that they can't write their own lyrics or songs. i feel like he just sang it to be humorous and he didn't have intentions of anyone ever hearing it (besides at that live show), but it got recorded and was put on the internet. i don't think he was serious about covering the song and or changing lyrics around... or doing that because of a lack of creativity. he was probably just drunk and had the song in his head or something. and if you've never seen a deftones show, they usually cover a song in the middle of their own songs. a lot of bands do stuff like that. it's not like it's something new and exciting. "ooo, no one ever copies anyone during a live show... wow we should hate them now..." thats really dumb. and if you don't like deftones, then whats the point of writing that they suck? don't waste your time... |
