Wow this song would be hell to transcribe. I think at the end though instead of : Not sure! Not sure! Not sure! Not suuuuure! it could be: March on! March on! March Ooooooon! Otherwise yeah great lyrics cause listening its pretty unintelligible. Also aparently this was going to be a rock opera about some Damned sailors. So maybe when hes tslking about the tails falling off its about failing at the rock opera with its, "tails" anyway great work! |

Yeah tenserock, my impression is that Issac is actually, well, a little happy. I heard somewhere he even stopped drinking (what!?!?). Its crazy but they've been at this game like 10 years and they have always been about not putting out the same album over and over, look at "This is a Long drive for someone with nothing to think about" compared to "Moon and Antartica" to "Good News for People who Love bad News". Very different each time and damnit that might make me a Modest Mouse fanboy but so be it :D Also on a side note does anyone know where this verse first appeared in a modest mouse song: well you were talking soda pop you were talking quite a lot the opinions that I do not give the opinions I aint got I'll never understand why they didn't put that song on an LP. DatheR, please say you see the humor in the, Non-Confomest's Pledge". You could relate it to anarchy, interesting ideas but impossible by their nature. The moment you delcare yourself an anrchist you put yourself in a group, somthing an anarchist is against. As far a Eulogy goes, I cant really say anymore what its about than whats been said before. :) |
