I think that he might be cheating on his current girlfriend with the girl in this song. and I think the girl in the song is someone who might either be 1) his ex 2) someone who he shared strong feelings with or 3) someone who is willing to be the "other woman" even though he MIGHT be willing to dump his current GF. " Maybe its just me but I definitely got a sexual connotation from "A little water please I taste you all over my teeth". |

This could be totally far off but I can't help but sense a relation to the September 11 events. In the first verse, I keep thinking about how the people of America turned to the country and it's leaders for help and a sense of hope. However, if nothing happened.. everyone would've continued living day to day not caring about what went on. However, I get to the second verse and that's where it loses me and I feel some other meaning to the song. *shrug* |
