forgive me if im wrong but i was lead to believe that the term 'emo' originated a while ago as a hardcore subgenre.. almost poking fun at hardcore bands in which the front man sang as opposed to the traditional hardcore vocal styling, screaming, yelling, and whatnot. then there were those bands that only sang sometimes.. screamo? hey i duno. thats my 2 cents |
