Yeah, I posted these lyrics. There were old ones up here which I used as a base and then made a lot of changes. I like the first line "Falling from the top FOR your life". Kind of like "running FOR your life". Like jumping off a building is getting away from the redundancy of the workplace. |

I saw these guys live last night. They put on a really great show. They opened, and a lot of people just left after watching them. Anyways, this song is about a friend of theirs who moved to Fall River, Nova Scotia, which is pretty close to where I live. They explained this before the song. If you get a change to see these guys live it's definitely worth it. |

I live in Canada and I dunno about you but I've never seen thursday, saves the day, or even dashboard confessional on TV. There are the people that like them, me included, but do you think they're becoming mainstream? I bet 3% of my school has even heard of any of them, let alone heard their music. Maybe it's just in the states or something.
I do agree that people shouldn't start disliking bands because they become more popular but I figure they are just mad because they liked them "before" they were big and now everyone does. I guess they don't want to be just another person listening to whoever.
And another thing, especially here on SongMeanings, people have to realize that everyone else is not like them, and it is possible they might like other music. Although I'm not a fan of rap or anything else produced by a computer, I know people like it the way I like screamo or punk. People just have to realize this... |
