I can DEFINATLY relate to this song. I had a girl that I felt this way about. Although I never went through with the same outcome the song ends with, not a day went by that I didn't want to. In the first part of the song, this couple is going to give the relationship another try after the girl wasn't faithfull. He's ok with the fact that she's already burt him once, but he's not going to let it happen again! He's pretty sure he'll "Win this time". Then he explains that he's very seriouse. He tells her that he'll even go as far as killing to protect his chared feelings. In the third part, He tells her that he means bussiness and that it's time for stuff to happen. (tells her it's time to take just a little taste of the hell he can bring) In the corus he's unsure of just how stupid this girl could be. After the corus, he tells her that he knows how much she likes to "get around" and that he thinks she actually enjoys the attention she gets. But he's going to leave her "mark" for her by killing the men she's with. (if she cared for them, this is a GREAT idea...That's justice for ya!). Now, after all this, she lies (cheats) angain!!! He's baffled...how could she be so stupid..."doesn't she realize she's in danger". ...and so, in the last three lines...he does what he has to do...heh heh heh. ***side note: I'm sitting next to her sister in a computer lab right now. This is the best song on "the sickness" album. It's my favorite becuase I feel as though I can relate. It's about society taking over the minds and actions of the everyday person. People don't feel, they just run around thinking that they are independant. Instead they become weakend by the rutine of life (poison). Thus, the "living lie". In the song, they try to reason with people. They try to break the "curse" on society. Instead of understanding, society becomes angry. This dosn't matter, the way i feel is that as long as i understand the curruption, i'm ok. The song mocks the poisoned people. Thus the lines, "put them up motherfucker, you're gonna feel it, when i stamp it, on your forhead. so you will never forget that you're noone, and your nothing." The last part of the song just brings the whole meaning together...a great conclusion. It's fairly self-explainitory. |
