| The Last Stop, IMO, is about people resolving to violence and sinning. And he talks about how he doesn't believe war can lead to peace. He also mentions religion and how Jesus sacrificed his life for all the sinners. Dave is basically telling people to stop being so cocky ("you're so righteous") and hating each other. At least, that's what I get out of the song. | |

Friends who are not really "friends". It makes you feel alone and abandoned. Your "friends" aren't helping you make things better, aren't answering the questions that need to be answered, and you're just "another situation" they need to deal with. You're confused and don't know when this "shit is going to stop" and nobody is ever listening to you. That's why he's telling you "these people are not my friends". I can definitely relate to this song. I feel like that a lot of the times. |
