Okay, now this is the real meaning of " Don't touch my belt":
It's taken out from from an Episode of the old Batman TV show, and it refers to Batman's Belt.
And get this: Jack Gilardi Appeared on that Episode. |

This song is definitely about drugs. It comes as a danger about the dangers of drug use, namely OD'ing or the permanent brain damage, that might be caused by a bad trip ("getting stuck in the sky"). |

This is a weird song! but cool.
I especially like the end, when Serjs' voice turns screechy (what the fuck?!), and he's shouting about some ships that are getting closer, and that they need to evacuate the lightpost, and that it's all over... |

What a beautiful song! One of the best songs i've heard, and the best lyrics i've ever heard.
I have no idea what it's about, though it's still beautiful. |

This is definitely one of my favorite metallica songs ever. It's huge. Just like the cover Turn The Page from Garage inc. this song is about a rock band on the road.
my favorite line is "off the beaten path i reign". Genius! |

I think most of you were way off. This is actually one of the more obvious songs of SOAD. Just look at the title - toxicity - that's what the song is about - pollution and destrution of the planet.
The line "what, do you own the world?" is directed to the people rsponsible for the pollution. |

I don't know why you feel you should compare it with the first unforgiven, it's a copletely new song. it does'nt realy have anything to do with The Unforgiven, except for the title and a few lines in the song.
anyway, this is definitely the best Metallica song ever, and THE BEST song i've ever heard! it's huge!!
James Hetfield also said once it's one of his alltime favorites. |
