aight. im gunna go on a crazy lim right here. isnt a promise ring something you get to promise god that you're going to save yourself until marriage? so in this song 'broken promise ring' im guessing the guy made the girl break her promise and he feels bad about it. hence, "until next time that HE goes away"...so im guessing the feelings they have are somewhat mutual..that although they love each other. she on one hand cant/shouldnt have sex with him and he feels bad that she has a promise ring on. ok. that was crazy and i might have been putting just a little too much thought into that. i am in no way a religious person. i guess the title of the song just got me thinkin. |
