| Snot – The Box Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Read the lyrics and listen carefully. View the first stanza. People are raised as children around the gun/hatred. When you think of the box, you think of the obvious answer, someone trapped somewhere. What you can also think of is the box can represent a television. Oddly enough, Lynn thought above the natural, but sometimes the most obvious answer isn't the one seen. I believe the song is basically talking about a child raised around TV surrounded by the hatred and vice seen on it, then growing up in life viewing it. Note songs such as Stoopid and Deadfall talking of hatred / growing up. | |

In the Chorus, and at the end: Absent - Sometimes I feel like it's us against them Absent - Sometimes it feel's like their anger's are justified Same at the end, after Absent -. I think in this song, at the beginning its like talking about people saying something to your face, and then talking shit behind you. This is something that the human race in all has created. Kind of like all of us are blind, and sometimes it really gets to you, racism, hatred, and it feels like our angers are REALLY justified of why their supposed to be there, but in the truth they aren't. At the end I think their saying, you have no soul, and the more you talk you just keep digging a bigger hole for yourself. Soon, he's going to come for you, pulling the covers you have over your eyes, and telling you "how it is." Basically, Don't sell out, don't become a mold, be yourself. Use your own judgement for what you think. Just like almost all of Snot's songs, be yourself and control your life. RIP Lynn |

Lynn came out saying that this song is about the people in the world who just lay back, "sleeping," while others just fill in their place doing their stuff for them, because the other people feel like their say doesn't count. R.I.P Lynn + Dobbs. |
